Mixing and Coatings Engineer
Requisition Number: CDG_E2
The Mixing and Coatings Engineer will serve as an integral part of Seeo’s Cell Development Group, responsible for development and optimization of coating processes, as well as characterization and analysis to support the development effort.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Development of core processes for formulation mixing and coating of electrodes
- Optimization of process steps and conditions for reliable and scalable formulation mixing and coating
- Sourcing development and production equipment for mixing and coating processes and related quality assurance
- Contribution to cell design, packaging, and commercial product development
Requirements
- Significant technological/scientific expertise and 5-10 years direct experience in formulations and coatings
- Direct industrial experience developing technology and/or processes for lithium ion batteries preferred
- Expertise in processing of polymer materials preferred

Cell Development Scientist
Requisition Number: CDG_E4
Serve as an integral part of Seeo's R&D team, integrating novel electrode materials in Seeo's solid state cells for Seeo's next generation batteries.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and execute research project to test advantages of Seeo's polymer platform in next generation cathode systems.
- Design and perform electrochemical characterization aimed at quantitatively assessing the electrode-electrolyte interface.
- Analyze cycling behavior, and the electrochemical stability of the cathodes.
Requirements
- Advanced degree in materials (chemical engineering, materials science) preferred, significant expertise in materials characterization, and engineering.
- Direct experience in development of novel battery electrodes, preferably based on metal oxides.

Cell Development Engineer
Requisition Number: CDG_E5
Serve as an integral part of Seeo's R&D team, driving an internal research effort to develop Seeo's next generation cell design.
Primary Responsibilities
- Design and perform electrochemical characterization aimed at quantitatively assessing performance of:
- Detailed analysis of cell operation, including discharge and cycling behavior.
- Work with partners and internal team to develop cell design based on new electrolyte and cathode materials, and processes for electrode fabrication and integration.
      o Advanced cathode design
      o Next generation polymer electrolytes, and the cathode-electrolyte                     interface
Requirements
- Advanced degree/related work experience preferred, significant technological expertise in Li ion electrochemistry required.
- Prior experience with basic tools for electrochemical characterization including Impedance spectroscopy, DC techniques, and RC models.
- Direct experience in developing battery electrodes.
- A genuine passion for technology innovation, and ability to think independently.
